Before you send: We'll use your details to reply and to arrange a measure and quote. To help our staff, our system may send your enquiry to Anthropic, a US company that makes the Claude AI. It sends your first name, suburb, postcode, form answers and message. Before sending, it tries to remove phone numbers, email addresses and street addresses. Anthropic may handle it in the United States, Europe, Asia, Australia or other countries where it operates. The AI only sorts enquiries and writes drafts. Our staff read and send every reply. We keep your enquiry on our servers in Indonesia, and our website gives Google Ads a scrambled (hashed) copy of your email and phone number to measure our ads. Please don't include health or other sensitive details. If you'd rather we didn't use AI, don't use this form: call 1300 980 501 or email info@royalfloors.com.au instead. How does the free measure and quote work?

Book online, call 1300 980 501 or visit a showroom. We come to you, measure every room, check the subfloor and test concrete and timber subfloors for moisture at no cost. We can bring samples too. How the free measure and quote works.

How quickly will I get my quote?

Your written quote arrives within two working days of the measure. It sets out the flooring, installation and any removal or preparation needed.

Do you test for moisture?

Yes. We test concrete and timber subfloors for moisture free of charge at the measure, because moisture is one of the main things that can damage a new floor.

Do I need to be home for the measure?

Ideally, yes, so we can walk through the rooms with you. If you can't be home, tell us when you book. We can still arrange the measure, and you can visit a showroom to choose your floor.

Can I see samples before I decide?

Yes. Visit our showrooms in Penrith, Campbelltown, Hornsby or Logan, or we can bring samples to your home. You can also try floors in a photo of your room with our Room Visualiser.

Can you source a product I can't find on your website?

Yes. If you have seen a floor or colour you can't find on our website, ask us and we will look into sourcing it.

Why don't you show prices online?

The cost depends on the range, the size and shape of your rooms, the subfloor and any removal or preparation. A free measure gives you a written quote for your rooms. What affects the cost of new floors.

Do you install the floors you sell?

Yes. Our installation team lays timber, hybrid, laminate, vinyl, bamboo and carpet. See flooring installation and carpet installation.

What warranty do I get?

Product warranties come from the manufacturer and differ by range. Most range pages show the warranty, or ask us. Our installation is covered by a 2 year installation warranty. See our warranty page.

Are you a member of the Australasian Timber Flooring Association?

Yes. Royal Floors is a member of the Australasian Timber Flooring Association (ATFA).

Do you help people who want to lay their own floor?

Can new flooring go over tiles?

Often, if the tiles are sound, well bonded and flat enough for the range you choose. We check this at the measure. Read our guide to flooring over tiles.

What do I need to know about flooring over a concrete slab?

Moisture and flatness matter most, which is why we test slabs at the measure. Read our guide to flooring over concrete.

Which floor is best for a kitchen?

Hybrid with a waterproof core, vinyl and water-resistant laminate are all practical kitchen choices. Best flooring for kitchens.

Which floor is best with pets?

Hard floors with a tough wear layer, or a stain-resistant carpet. Best flooring for pets and pet-friendly carpet.

What should I check for an apartment?

Your strata by-laws first. Some schemes set acoustic requirements or ask for a test report, and results also depend on the building. Best flooring for apartments.

Should I choose hybrid or laminate?

Hybrid has a waterproof core on the ranges that say so, while our Royal laminates are water resistant, not waterproof. Hybrid vs laminate flooring.

How many times can a timber floor be sanded?

Solid timber can be sanded several times. Engineered timber depends on the thickness of its top layer, and a thin layer may only suit a light sand or a recoat. See floor sanding and polishing.

Which carpet fibre should I choose?
